Shireland Sixth Form is a dynamic and vibrant Sixth Form. We have grown and transformed the Sixth Form over the past 10 years. The Sixth聽Form represents the final stage of your formal education and as such is the passport to the future.

Therefore, our Sixth Form programme supports and develops not only your academic progress but also gives you many opportunities to develop new skills through our Futures, work experience and many other extra-curricular programmes. Our Sixth聽Form will help to develop the levels of independence that you will require when you leave formal education. We will help you decide what the next steps will be whether that be university, apprenticeships or stepping into the world of work.

We will ensure that you engage with industry experts, universities and careers advisors to help you in making important decisions that will shape your future. I very much hope that you decide to apply to Shireland Sixth聽Form and look forward to meeting you all.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Sixth Form website.

Making the right choice for where and what to study after completing your GCSEs is an important one. I hope that these pages offer you an insight into the choices and opportunities that we have at Shireland Sixth Form. Here at Shireland, we want to support you with your next steps; helping you to become a well rounded, well prepared member of the community; embedding our core values.

We have excellent relationships with our Alumni students who are proud to be Shireland made. We foster partnerships with industry, and enrichment opportunities that allow you to be one step ahead of the crowd when making your post 18 decisions. Our Sixth Form Experience nurtures, challenges and supports our students in successfully preparing them for life beyond school.

My mission is that we offer the best provision in the area and we are the preferred choice for our community.
